Length

To introduce our topic to length, year 3 measured items around the room using a ruler. We looked at the length of these items in cm. We then measured a pupil in class. We decided that a ruler would be to small and we used a measuring stick instead. The pupil was 1m 24cm. We then converted this into cm. We enjoyed practically exploring length and this will help us with our future maths lessons.
