Letters to Greenpeace

Class 3 have been learning all about Whale poaching and litter in the ocean the past few weeks. The children have done their own research and wrote their own facts and feelings about the topic. The children then explored the features of a letter and informal and formal styles. Using this the children wrote a formal letter to Greenpeace. The children understand that Greenpeace is trying to stop Whale poaching so they wrote their letters to see if there is anything they can do to help. The class posted their letters in the local Post Office and are hoping for a reply!
