On Wednesday 30th January, Class 3 visited the Hancock Museum in Newcastle. They became Ancient Egyptian Historian detectives for the day! The class looked at artefacts and x-rays of the mummies Irtyru and Bakt en Hor. The children were especially excited to find out that these two mummies were in the Museum! The children then explored the Museum and saw the two mummies! The children played object eye spy in groups and used images on their sheet to find them in the Museum and write about them. It was a great day and will help Class 3 in our final two weeks on this topic!
