Thank you from Year 6!
Today Ruby brought in a beautifully made cake as a treat for all of the children in Year 6. We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to Ruby’s mum who baked this delicious cake. The children have worked very hard this year and thoroughly enjoyed this treat.

On Thursday 16th May the pupils of Class 4 were invited to a party, to celebrate the end of the SAT’s tests for Year 6 and all the extra challenges Year 5 have completed.
The event was organised and run by one of our teachers, Mrs Hancock. After getting changed into our party clothes, we danced to some music to get us warmed up for the party games.
The first game we played was Corners. Four football club names had been put in each corner of the hall and we had to go to a corner before Mrs Hancock shouted a club name. If we were in the corner of the club that was called then we were out.
The next game was called School Dinners. In this game two people left the hall and another two people hid. Everybody sang ‘School Dinners’ until the returning people had guessed who was hiding.
As it was warm we had our snack of crisps and fizzy pop outside.
There was time for one last game called Wink, Wink Murder. One person went outside while the teacher chose the murderer. When they came back in this person had to guess who the murderer was. Meanwhile the murderer was winking at people and they had to fall down in a dramatic death.
The SAT’s party was so much fun and I would recommend it to every school who has hard working students.
