On Monday 18th March Class 4 celebrated St. Patrick’s Day. They dressed in green for the occasion and completed a variety of activities about St. Patrick and Ireland. In the afternoon, parents were invited to join us as we made Irish inspired cupcakes, cookies and milkshake. The children were also excited to perform an Irish song and Irish dancing to their parents.

Mini Police
Today Year 5 went on a trip to Spennymoor Police Station and we met: Zac, Charlotte and Malcolm who showed us around the station. We learnt about the journey; from being arrested, until you get sentenced. Malcolm showed us inside the cell and what they had in it. Malcolm also showed us the facilities like: the shower, the toilet, the interview room, the photo booth and the food. There was food such as: chicken casserole, all day breakfast and tikka masala. Year 5 would like to say a BIG thank you to the Mini Police and Spennymoor Police Station.
