We are always seeking to improve on the quality of education we provide for all children, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We are keen to hear from parents and carers about their child’s experiences in school and their own. We are all working together to try and provide the very best school experiences for our children.
We encourage parents and carers to speak to class teachers or Mrs Wright (SENCo) if they have any questions or feedback so that concerns can be addressed as soon as possible. If you would like your question or query to be addressed more formally then please contact us via the school office and we will arrange a conversation with you as soon as possible.
Compliments are always greatly received and can be passed on either directly to staff and the SENCO, or formally recorded via our regular questionnaires to parents or in the form of a letter to the Head Teacher. We hope that complaints about our SEND provision will be rare, however, there should be a concern the process outlined in the school Complaints Policy should be followed.
Further information can be found in the Complaints Policy in the School Policies section of your website or by visiting the Durham County Council’s Local Offer website.
