What a fantastic time we all had at the Durham University Library for our Stone Age – Iron Age workshop. We were extremely busy, from making iron coins for our tribe, finding out what a skeleton can tell us about the past, looking at different artefacts from the period and we even took part in a quiz around the gallery! All of this work will help us in our History lessons to come!

VE Day Memorial Bench
To mark the upcoming event of the 75th anniversary of V E Day, Class 3 and Class 4 have had the opportunity to design a V E Day memorial bench. The children designed their bench in groups and the winning one will have their bench made and put in Cockfield Village. The designs were fabulous and it will be hard to choose a winner!
