We have been growing broad beans from seeds and investigating how they grow. We have been keeping a broad bean diary and recording how they have changed over the weeks. Eventually the broad beans were too big to keep in the class so we took them to the allotment and planted them. Hopefully later in the year, if we look after them properly and the weather is good, we can harvest some lovely broad beans to eat… Or keep to plant next year!
