During Spanish week we completed lots of activities based on Spain and the Spanish culture. We used paper Mache to make our own maracas! We added layers of newspaper , water and PVA glue to a balloon. Once it had hardened we popped the balloon inside and added dried peas to make a rattling sound. Then we added a stick and painted our maracas with colourful patterns. Our finished maracas were fantastic!
