In Maths we have been learning about choosing and using appropriate standard units to estimate and measure length/height in any direction (m/cm); mass (kg/g); temperature (°C); capacity (litres/ml) using rulers, scales, thermometers and measuring vessels.
Everyone in our class loves whales. We wondered which species of whale we could fit in different parts of our school? Here we are using trundle wheels to find out. We found out that the only place we could fit a blue whale was on the playground because it is so large!
