School Holidays During Term Time
The Government has amended regulations for taking holidays in term time and these new regulations come into effect from August 2024. Details regarding these can be found at: https://www.durham.gov.uk/article/2208/Holidays-during-term-time
We understand the challenges which are faced by families who are balancing the cost of family holidays we we work with our families to support as much as possible within the national rules.
We encourage families to keep the school office updated regard to planned holidays as this means that we do not need to spend time following up absences and we have more time to work with the children. Holiday forms can be collected from the school office and messages regarding absence can be shared with the office via phone, email or Class Dojo.
