This week Class 3 were lucky enough to go to Preston Park for our summer trip and we had an amazing time!
When we arrived it rained very heavily and we all got very wet, however the sun soon came out and we were able to do all of the exciting activities planned.
First we looked around the museum. We saw lots of really old artefacts and learnt a lot of information about life many years ago.
We also got to visit a real-life Victorian Street which had lots of shops we could visit. We particularly liked the sweet shop and the police station!
Before lunch we went on a boat trip down the River Tees and met a very special heron that lived there!
In the afternoon we went on a bug hunt in the lovely gardens. We found lots of mini-beasts and looked at them very carefully under the microscopes.
We had a fabulous day so please have a look at our memories.
