World Book Day Class 4

Year 6 read a Powerpoint about the history of World Book Day. We had a class discussion about our favourite book and why we enjoy reading. Then we had lots of fun taking part in a character quiz. The children were given clues about characters in a variety of books and then they had to guess the character and the book, which the character is from. Children were awarded a bonus point for thinking of an interesting adjective to describe that character’s personality. Grace was the top scorer, with Joe coming a close second. Well done to everyone! After having a fun quiz, the children wrote a book review of their favourite book. We really enjoyed dressing up and to celebrate World Book Day!
